Ok guys, I'm going to be gone for a few weeks because my finals are almost here, so I won't be submitting any new art for a while.

I may, however, submit some REALLY old "vintage" art just to show you guys where I'm coming from, XD.

I'll miss you guys! Right after finals, I'm going to be traveling for about a week, so yeah. I'll be gone for a while.

I am so distracted.

Dear fellow students,

I've been waking up at 6:30am practically every day this week with about 5-6 hours of sleep every night. No, don't cry for me, because hey, I think I'm actually having fun coming to class again. Even though I am taking like 40+ credit hours this semester, that is ok, because I get to go to class and talk with my friends about how it sucks, and then we go and play Rockband or play board games or play the Wii or just hang out and drink.

I complain alot, but really, I love where I am right now, socially speaking. But I think I'm going to have to crack down again and really try to ace the material this time so I can TRY to high pass everything this block >_< (greater than 86.5%).

Right now we're talking about HIV and treatment. It's very interesting, I hope that one day we will be able to actually come up with a cure. I'll try to keep my medical-rants-tangents-anecdotes fairly simple for my sake (I don't want to study @_@). HIV is so nasty because it is so frickin' smart and hides so well so that it won't be completely eradicated. It sticks its genome into our human genomes and can remain hidden there forever (latency). Boo! The treatment that exists now works fairly well with an indefinite life expectancy for those who are strictly adherent to their treatment regimen. The bad thing is, these drugs can actually mess up your liver, pancreas, giving you diabetes and high fat levels in your blood and possibly increasing your risk for heart attack and stroke.

So before you go on your one-night-stand of casual sex (assuming that many people do), just be careful. It might be worth staying in your own pants, because man, STD's don't sound too fun.

Assuming that anyone is reading this,
take care and keep on making art!

p.s. I LOST 5 LBS! IM SO HAPPY!

Dear Readers,

I strongly encourage you to try golf sometime. There is something amazing about getting out there on a beautiful green field on a sunny, breezy day and forgetting your school troubles for a few hours. Plus, after a while, you tone all of your abs, back, and deltoids XD Seeing as how I have no upper body strength and that golf requires NO RUNNING (unless you're playing something else entirely on that field), then its the perfect sport for me. And if you mess up your swing, somtimes you can, as my friend puts it, perform "Link's spin attack" with the club, lol. I don't think I've ever seen any of the other golfers do that spin attack the way I have - which only happens when I get tired out there.

Anyway, my point is that I found that golf really teaches me patience. As my body grows older and more feeble (> 21 years, which is everyone's peak age of intelligence and physical ability), I find that I can only get out there once a week, filling in the rest of the days of the week with less invasive exercise such as going for an hour on the elliptical. My personal struggle is that I LOVE TO TANK EVERYTHING, including but not limited to video games, school, and real life, so I can't get out there every other day (yet) to practice my swing, get a nice tan, otherwise I'd dislocate both my shoulders and end up in the ER, and who wants another fat bill to pay? (booo~)

I wonder if I should start putting in health tips at the end of my journals. I've got one right now:

WASH YOUR HANDS! Wash them after using the bathroom, especially. I will never have any idea how much cleaner the world would be if everyone did this.
And wash your hands before eating/putting hands in mouth/sneezing in them.
I know most of you probably had mothers who barked this 24/7, but hey, she was right all along. You'd be surprised at how many doctors and researchers from microbiology labs forget to wash hands after doing an experiment in the lab or after seeing other infected patients @____@;; So if you ask your doc to wash their hands before touching you, go right ahead - even if you feel awkward about it. They are supposed to wash hands before and after seeing every patient.
Ok, that was boring and that is the end of this health tip episode!

Yes, I did!

Woo hoo!

Now I need to go draw more Marth/Ike/Roy shenanigans XD

Coloring that last Golf Cart pic was really fun, so I hope that I can continue to color like that. Re-learning or remembering how to color in Photoshop was a ROYAL PAIN, so I hope I never have to go through that again.

I'm feeling better about school, seeing as how I let myself get 9 hours of sleep last night to make up for my infinite debt of sleep that will probably never be paid off >_<

No sleep makes me turn into a zombie.

I'll probably write more later, when I actually think of something interesting to talk about, XD
