EDIT: Removed the ribbon. It really did look like Seph was wearing it! (which could explain why Aeris was so mad... but alas, that is not the mood I was going for, lol)
Also tweaked the hues and shading.

I made Seph's bangs more, uh, modern? At least, more modern in the sense of FFVII AC ish and such.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure they must have met up in that forest after the Temple but before the City of the Ancients.

That they met up there is one of my favourite little bits of headcanon. Besides being fun in and of itself, it explains why you have to sleep and wake up before anything happens. The players are backstage and just waiting for Cloud.

Can't decide how it would have gone though - maybe they didn't say anything at all. Just knew what was going to go down and were ready for the chips to fall where they would. That's what this picture reminds me of.

I do not sell fan art. It feels wrong... I didn't create those characters! People have also gotten in trouble when they made significant amounts of money from selling fan art, since they technically don't own the characters :(

I know its socially acceptable, hehe! I still think it's illegal as well. Most companies don't do anything about it until you start making alot of money from your fan works.

I'm a massive fan of FFVII and while I'm not a big fan of Aeris (was always a Tifa bloke myself, of course, ha!) I have to say that you drew Aeris in a light that I'm not used to seeing, and it's awesome. I wish Aeris was as serious in the game, I'd probably have liked her a lot more! The entire piece is beautifully done, though. Consider yourself watched. ^^;

Aeris was super fierce about stopping Sephiroth. When she witnesses Cloud giving the black materia to Sephiroth right after the Temple of the Ancients, she gets pretty mad. "The future is not only yours!"
