FFXIII (didn't finish... got bored, made my friend finish it.)
So, I haven't played the older ones, really.
VIII is a great game that probably gets a lot more stick than it deserves.
IX I'm in the middle of playing now, although being admin at EoFF and running the Ciddies there means "Best Moment" spoiled a looooot of stuff for me.
X is one of my least favourite... it's a good game itself as I enjoy PLAYING it, but it would be better if I could shoot Tidus, Yuna and Seymour in the head every time they opened their mouths.
XII is great! Although I have to force myself to carry on with the story instead of wandering around doing mindless things. x_x I gave up on my first playthrough as I forgot about the story entirely and didn't know what to do, but on my second shot I just hammered through it.
XIII I loved, particularly for the characters who were much deeper than non-lead characters before them.
The old ones are okay, although if you ever do bother with them, I'd play FFV and FFVI first because they're definitely the most enjoyable.
Can't say I've played MQ yet! Is it worth a shot?
X... I just got bored. I couldn't bond with any of the characters. It really makes me wonder, how do you get people to fall in love with your characters? How did FFVII do that so well!? Makes me crazy trying to figure it out! When I make my own comic series one day, I hope I can make my characters as loveable as they did!
MQ-- I would not waste my time playing that. Omg. So frustrating. Boring. Too many annoying enemies!! LOL.
Thanks for the heads up regarding MQ, I'll probably not get around to it then.
